The house was situated opposite the present Anglican Church, Werribee and built around the 1850s. Mrs J. Maher owned and occupied this house.

Mrs J. Maher was born in 1836 and died in 1906.

A two storey house located on Farm Road, Werribee occupied by the Blacker family, then Facey family.

It was taken over by the Melbourne Metropolitan Board of Works and occupied by R. Larkin and others.

The Manor, built in 1889, was the home of Captain Percy Chirnside. It was sold to grazier Philip Lock in 1923 and later bought by Mr Galvin who left it to his niece, Mrs Hayes. The Manor burnt down on 25 July 1966.
