Werribee.This photograph was taken late 1890s early 1900. It is of State School No.649 as it was on the original site. This site was reserved for the National School established in 1858, and the Common School in 1862.
The National School was a wooden structure and the second was built of bluestone. Later, the State School moved to its present site at Deutgam Street (1995). The original site is still vacant. (1995) -
