Olver Brothers transport van, 236 Latrobe Street, Melbourne.
Van made by N .A. Kendall of Werribee, Victoria.
The Olver brothers Stan and Arthur started a daily transport service between Werribee and Melbourne in 1922. The patronage they received from traders and residents made the business viable very shortly after its commencement. This led to the commencement of another service to Sassafras. Ordinary deliveries were done by the two International vans.
During peak periods such as Christmas, the Ford was brought into commission. Gordon Barnes bought the business during the middle of the war and later sold it to Eric Anderson.

The truck height was too tall to come out through door - photo shows trenches dug to allow exit. Norm Kendall is at the back wheel with Jim Carter looking on.
