No.389  Private Albert Edward Trim
Albert Edward Trim  was born to George Trim and Mary (nee Rees) Trim on 26 October 1889 in Oakleigh, Victoria.

War Service
Albert enlisted into the Army at Melbourne, Victoria on 11 September 1914.  He was aged 24 and half years old and he was 5 feet and six and a half inches.  Albert weighed eleven stone and eleven pounds and had a chest measurement of thirty five to thirty six and three quarter inches. He noted he was born in Geelong Victoria.
All of this was recorded at his enlistment.

His unit embarked overseas on 22 December 1914. Albert was with the 14th Battalion and was a Gunner.

He returned to Australia on 19 April 1918 and was discharged on 30 July 1918.

Post War
Albert married Ethel Annie Mumme in 1938 in Victoria, Australia.

Albert died in 1974 and was buried in the Cheltenham Cemetery.
